Apple Announces Resident Evil 8: Village Coming to MacOS

At the WWDC22 developer conference held in the early morning of June 7, iOS16, watchOS 9 and MacBook Air with M2 chip were unveiled one after another.

In the release of the MacBook Air, Apple emphasized its gaming performance. Apple said that with the powerful performance and power consumption of the M2, the new MacBook Air can not only run iOS games better, but also has new progress in the support of large-scale games.

To this end, Apple demonstrated the space adventure survival theme game "No Man's Sky" developed by Hello Games at the press conference, and also said that Capcom brought its "Resident Evil 8: Village" to the MacOS platform.

Apple says that users can experience Resident Evil 8: Village running at 1080P on the MacBook Air, while on Mac Studio, the game will be able to run at 4K resolution.

At present, the Mac version of "Resident Evil 8" has not announced a detailed release date, and the official said it will be launched within this year.
